Clarity, Freedom, Solution

Many times in life we run into tough situations, some small and some so big. As humans, we tend to naturally get emotionally tied, especially if it’s involved in any way with a loved one or family member. Your reasoning gets cloudy, bad decisions are made in haste, or you’re trying so hard to control the situation, you’ve put blinders on yourself. All you can feel is the pain and injustice, and this means you are too close to the situation to see it clearly. It’s time to rise above and shift into a new perspective. It takes a little practice, but being able to shift your awareness to a place of observation is pure gold. Honestly. Letting go is an important step in this process, so be ready. Learning that you do not need the control is a hard one to swallow. Detach emotionally, and observe. Trust the order in the chaos, and release your own suffering for goodness sake! And as I always, always say – make sure you’re giving yourself plenty of GRACE! You can do this.

β€œNo problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.” – Albert Einstein

Affirmation:
I surrender this situation to the Universal power of love
I trust all is well in my life
I look at my life from a higher perspective
I am divinely guided
All is clear in my life – I am safe

Moonlight Goddess

Repressed emotions, Healing, Reflection

β€œSpiritual growth consists most in the growth of the root, which is out of sight.” – Matthew Henry

The Moon in tarot often represents hidden truths, blocked emotions, or something that has been hidden that wants to come out. We feel safe in the dark, where we send our emotions to sleep – but that’s not what happens. So often we think that hiding or repressing our emotions will work in making them go away. Sometimes we’re simply (maybe unconsciously) trying to protect ourselves and others. The hard truth is that the emotions and waves of sadness, guilt, grief, shame, etc. won’t really be released until we face them. Being hurt is ok, crying it out is absolutely ok – this is all a very important first step to healing, reflecting on it after the fact, and finally releasing and moving on. It may really hurt right now, but this is growth. Focus on what your evolution can bring!

β€œLet your heart be free and your soul will fly” ~ Heidi Dellaire

Negative emotional attachments can really sneak up on us. Not speaking for every individual – because there are truly malicious people out there – but none of us plan for that. We don’t truly want this relationship to be a place of negative energy or co-dependency. But it happens, so often, for so many reasons! Number one, make sure you’re giving yourself the grace you deserve. Number two – it will hurt, but you’ve gotta cut those ties. Sometimes, we live day-to-day without even realizing the toxicity. So, what happens when we become aware? Then it becomes a choice, and it will be a lesson either way.

Affirmation:
I release myself from all negative attachment
I trust that this is for my highest good
I trust that this is for the highest good of all
I help others most
By not allowing myself or them to be co-dependent
I look at every situation in a balanced way

Zen Garden – 5.20.22

Aimee Pittman Reflections Blog Post 5.20.22 1080x1080

Sometimes, every once in a while, we lose ourselves. We lose the ability to reason, listen, and let go of our ego. Our external factors can be chaotic, confusing, and just damn frustrating. We find ourselves craving to make sense of everything and to find an order in the chaos. What we forget sometimes, is to go within. Not your head, no not there! That place is swirling with made-up scenarios and worries about the past/future. Take a trip to your heart center, follow your breath there. This is where peace comes from, not any other person or thing can give you this.

Affirmation:
I accept and love the world as it is
I trust that there is a higher order to everything
I find solace in the sanctuary of my heart
I move my awareness within
I am the peace I seek
